Dr. Vickie Barnett has been a resident of Arlington, Texas, for over 13 years. Tarrant County offers vast opportunities for an improved quality of life based on safe communities, high quality public education, and short commutes for residents throughout the metroplex. In gratitude for such a wonderful experience as a resident of the City of Arlington, Dr. Barnett seeks to give back to the community she dearly loves, by running for State Representative in 2012 for the new 101st District.

The future of Tarrant County, Arlington, Grand Prarie and the surrounding communities is a concern for Dr. Barnett. She has worked diligently to make a better life for herself and her family and now intends to ensure that other families have the same prospects. Dr. Barnett has the personal and professional experience to make a difference as a State Representative.

As a graduate of DeVry University, Dr. Barnett earned a Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Management, a Master’s degree in Project Management from the Keller Graduate School of Management, and a Doctoral degree in Educational leadership from the University of Phoenix.
